Summoning Salt/Karl Jobst:
*"On March 29th, 2020, Nekin achieved, this run..."*
We should work on a history video someday
we're all rly busy so not until a long time
5 years is a little bit short for that, I think...
If you include the whole history of the community i don't think it's too short
Well, at least I had a 4:04.07 Gaul... but my tardis is buggy as fuck lately. I ALWAYS lose 20 seconds there, because I pop out ten times and can't even get into the crates and the crates can't be destroyed at first try anymore
first attempt died to Obelix pushing the lions and the gladiator directly at the torch 5 times in a row.
both were amazing runs until then -.-
I hate this so much. I do what I can, I improve, I improve, I improve, but the game always keeps that middle finger raised in my face
It's entirely impossible for me to get a run, I can even be midly happy about
because my own skill doesn't matter shit
All I want is ONE acceptable run and then get to another game
The collective sum of best is now 1:10:21. Hopefully we'll manage to shave off these 21 seconds.
This is making me remember... In early 2017, when I started watching speedruns and most runs were around 1:30, I thought: "It can probably be made in 1:20, even less than that, but never in less than 1:10". And now it's almost there... I can hardly believe it.
My sum of best is 1:10:06 now :p And that with a Helvetia where I failed Five Armies on first try and didn't use Obelix flybash and an Egypt where I massively choked two fights...
So I think it won't be long until we get a sub 1:10 SoB ^^ I'd even say, it's already possible in a run.
WR Helvetia isn't 17:57 anymore ?
