Yeah no, sadly you can't have sub roles.
You also can't have sub categories which sucks as that would be super useful for a DnD Discord I'm in :/

Well, if you have access to any real channels yes.
Roles like "XXL" "XXL2" "Cinephile" etc aren't showed in the list but can be seen for each person.
So why not giving a global WR role and another role specifying the category ?

This is the setting that lets you have it shown on it's own.
It's either on or off for each role. No more functions than that.
