but no sane person will ever attempt it in a run :p

On a scale from "1" (70 Gaul skip) to "10" (Helvetia poles skip), I think the Egypt passive lock is at "100" ...

Oh god, you got that one as well? I only had it once and am frightened of it ever since xD
I can only guess that it's either because we end up at the lever too fast, or we cut the corners of the bridge too wide and skip a trigger like that
I saw that coming because Obelix wasn't following me, so I didn't activate the catapult, but that doesn't matter at this point ...
So why can we softlock if go too much to the left side ?
