To me the spy always felt longer to "spam" than any other dialogue

Oh yeah, right, there are actually other dialogues in the game... completely forgot about the other villagers lol
the end dialogues of the country basically end instantly
While PS2 struggles when spamming spy
Sometimes the spy takes ages to leave...
And sometimes, in the end of regions, the loading time before the map appears can take its time also...
He probably has a trigger to him that just is refreshed every 2 seconds or somethings, just like locks are only refreshed every 3 seconds
I think this is the same problem than the locks that don't disappear immediately...
Is it really to reduce lag ?
Because 1 single test every 0.1s is not going to create more lag imo
