My goal was also to beat him with the old strats, but now, if I can achieve a 1:09:3x, it will not have the same effect if the run uses new strats... :/
And finally, I still don't have any idea of the best route for the helmets x)

I recently recorded one of my runs but it was about a month ago and I still didn't know everything that well ;/ I stopped my run on the second merchant after I bought a club instead of a twister xD

Our "recent" brainstorm to optimize our routes with Failentin ended in a "we don't know" state so it's normal if you're a bit lost ^^
