For full-any% I'd recommend it, but for Level% you don't need it of course
Now I am learning route, where I don't buy a hammer power combo and I don't collect helmets in Gaul, but I start collecting helmets from Normandy. Some people buy this combo in Gaul, but some don't.
In fact, this combo is useful in Greece, but nowhere else.
