but under the bottom line: Greece PL wasn't that random, it actually just fit into our knowledge what the game doesn't like
and then I was very proud that I found it, just for Marty discovering a video on YT just a tiny bit later that showed the exact same strat we use now, but the video was older than me finding the strat 🙂

I think Yarny found the consistent positioning, but it actually was me who came accross Bathjump accidentaly, I had it recorded on real gamecube!
Iirc it was for the longest time known as being a lucky thing that could happen. Then the McDonald's guy decided to try and find a setup and found a stupid complicates setup. And then I decided to test it and found that one can make Asterix jump over by standing still in the right spot as long as there was enough space in front of Obelix for Asterix to want to move past but not enough for him to get past.
