| Filip5011 | ah yes, I forgot years existed |
| Stinkek | I can confirm that the Corsica comic was a weird (but still entertaining) experience for me as a non-French |
| Filip5011 | Asterix in Native America |
| Stinkek | We have Asterix Conquers America which is loosely based on Asterix and the Great Crossing, but it's kinda dumb |
| Filip5011 | ;-; |
| Filip5011 | Well we gotta remember that they are most likely to go to areas that Julius C. Conquered |
| Filip5011 | |
| Stinkek | I'm more interested in both animated series. Live actors are not that interesting to look at. |
| Filip5011 | the Asterix movies with the real actors was kinda weird |
| Filip5011 | Asterix was too tall |
| Filip5011 | the villagers weren't fat enough |
| Filip5011 | In my opinion at least |
| Stinkek | Characters are drawn with unrealistic proportions to be more appealing and recognisable |
| Filip5011 | yh, they couldn't rlly use someone with Dwarfism as Asterix |
| Filip5011 | no offence to them, but they wouldn't rlly suit asterix ig |
| Feder373 | Live actor movies went from good to awful, with each one being dumber than the former, and people got tired of that. They need to make a good plot and reduce the amount of cheap humor. On another point, I miss animated movies where things are drawn as in the comics, plastiline designs don't look so good imo. |
| Stinkek | 3D is confirmed for both series, the Dogmatix series has character renders already which are similar to the movies. |
| Stinkek | Asterix and the Vikings has the best 2D animation but I feel it tries way too hard to be like Disney overall which doesn't fit the franchise |
| Stinkek | I also find older movies to be harder to watch lately. I realised it's their slow pacing. 12 Tasks seems fine though. |
| Herr Epsilon | What is their obsession with The Big Fight? It's not even that good of a comic |
