In Linux if u use the camera it glitched then. If u try to change the controls the game don´t accept any buttons nymore.
I'm on Linux same problem. I was able to change the camera buttons to the dpad by pressing the right trigger (not entirely) and the dpad buttons. But I wasn't able to set it in the right stick but I can change control layout with every other buttons.
With an Xbox one controller my theory is that the triggers are considered pressed even if they're not because so point 0 is somewhere between pressed and not pressed. So you need to push them at a certain point so the game will think that they're not pressed. Then you'll be able to change the buttons layout
I'll try to remap the button with a program if I find the time to do it. And test if it fixes the problem

I installed antimicro and set keyboard shortcuts on the right stick. Mine are 8, 4, 2 and 6. In the game I set the layout on keyboard camera on 8, 4, 2 and 6. (I need to press the R trigger but not entirely to set buttons) Then you can add controller buttons for every other shortcuts even if the game setings are on keyboard. With this you can keep the stick sensitivity correct if you need to move asterix and obelix slower.
If it's not clear I can make a vidéo to explain how I did it but not today. Hope that it can help you @Pink Sunshine and Sun
