| Stinkek | Today I downloaded 4 Asterix games for Java (all that I know of) and an emulator for them. I haven't actually tried it yet, but what could be possibly complicated about emulating a game for button phones from mid 2000's? The screenshots look kinda nostalgic even though I never played them. |
| Mr.Rubinshtein | Ye mobile games are weird |
| Stinkek | I tried out the first two games, which are basically the same, it's nothing special so when we get to writing about them I expect their pages to be pretty short. |
| Mr.Rubinshtein | its fine |
| Mr.Rubinshtein | we will later fill the details |
| Mr.Rubinshtein | with art and graphics |
| Stinkek | Some idiot posted a download of OG for mobile that's not even playable, it just freezes in the intro. I'll need to find another one |
| rubinho146 | Maybe is the emulator that doesn't work |

| rubinho146 | There is a java game that I wanted to play so bad and it doesn't work in any emulator |
| rubinho146 | The name is Trance Pinball |
| Martyste Tendertail | Java emulation is quite the rabbit hole... i remember searching for the Java ports for Final Fantasy I & II, cuz that means yet another version of their soundtrack. |
| Martyste Tendertail | FF1 has unique music on NES, MSX2, Wonderswan Color, PS1-PSP-IOS, GBA, Java and PC ( Pixel Remaster ) |
| Martyste Tendertail | Quite a mess for the rest of the first 6 gamed |
| Stinkek | The first two Java games feel like watered down retro platformers
