there's severel speedrun that do stuff before the run to manipulate RNG and stuff

hmm... Well, I know speedruns which change time settings on their system and stuff like that, but doing something ingame? Isn't that equivalent to NewGame+?
NewGame+ would be if you had combos, helmets or anything before the run. Not activating a check in the game 😄
I know what you mean, but since we start from a completely fresh file I find it absolutely fine
The thing is, I remember a bug in XXL2R where the save file got corrupted somehow and so the teleport options for all stages of Lutece were opened up after the first boss (when only the first area should be unlocked), even though the run was started on "New Game". Obviously, that strat was banned. This kinda reminds me of that ^^

Try to make this run in Egypt before the run and then start a new game. Perhaps this is due to the fact that you pre-load the textures and the skip will work. I am waiting for your results! I will also continue to conduct tests!

As soon as you start the game for the first time, most likely after performing the skip as in the video you will get a softlock, but after that everything should work well!
