The French version of the website has the most characters. If you, for example, look for the tree Roman, he is only in the French version, but his foreign names are still listed
You can open the Les Personnages tab and look through it

I don't really have a favourite, I don't remember the comics well, but I quite enjoyed Olympic Games
I love almost all of them, but Asterix and the Actress (Latraviata) has a special place in my memory because it's the first I owned.
It's been a long time since I read all of them, but when I was ca. 15 years old my favourites were #13 (Cauldron) and #10 (Legionary). I laughed out loud reading them.
Actress is definitely underrated. It's one of the better Uderzo-only albums.
Cauldron and legionary are awesome
