In Asterix Versus Caesar, Obelix tries to impress Panacea (Falbala in French), but eventually learns she is engaged with Tragicomix, and gets heartbroken
And then asks for the potion from Panoramix
But the clonation doesn't last long
At the end of the film Panacea kisses Asterix in gratitude, making him lose his mind a little, and afterwards he is seen sitting on a tree branch looking sad
If you want the ultimate evidence of 12 Tasks not being canon, I read that the comic of that story was initially going to be in the main collection with number 23, but was finally left without number by Goscinny in favor of Obelix & Co.
And about dates being just around 50 BC:
-At the beginning of the America movie, it says the year is 48 BC.
-Asterix and the Actress album takes place during the civil war between Caesar and Pompey, which had to be between 49 and 48 BC.
-Caesar arrived in Egypt in late 48 BC (following Pompey, who had fled there after losing a battle) and didn't meet Cleopatra until 47 BC.
damn. i really should stick to the Grand Theft Auto timeline. it's much easier to understand.
1. Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories - 1984
2. Grand Theft Auto Vice City - 1986
3. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - 1992
4. Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories - i think 1997
5. Grand Theft Auto III - 2001
6. Grand Theft Auto IV - 2008
7. Grand Theft Auto V - 2013
8. Grand Theft Auto Online - 2017
Asterix Doesn't have timeline.
I mean, its just time hole, there's only 50 B.C. Not less, no more.
and even if there's a timeline, i'm not that big of an asterix fan to notice and understand it.
