timelines are pretty difficult to understand in general.

As I pointed out, some of the stories can be placed in an exact year thanks to their historical references, and others could be ordered by finding references to former albums and possibly the season in which they take place. Sadly, most of Caesar's (and Rome's) conquests ocurred before 50 BC, after that he just dedicated to seize power of Rome, and since Asterix stories hardly ever mess with Roman politics, we can get little to no references for most of them. PS: I'm both a big fan of Asterix and history 😋

The opening of Mansion of the gods has good music, but the animation during the opening is pure cringe to me.

Philippe Rombi and his team have offered some of the most colorful orchestrations I have heard in recent years with this soundtrack. It's like every eight bars or so they're changing texture or doing something unexpected. There are so many unseen little details and effects every time I listen to it. Magic Potion was already far tamer but still good.
