there are many unlucky situations where the moving platforms and the archers' pattern align in a way that makes it impossible not to get hit

I'm not really making progress since the patterns of the platforms in the third stage are rather hard to learn, while I'm rarely making it to the third stage at all

there's only one platform that goes too fast imo, namely the one after you kill the crossbow roman with one life on the static platform

since it seems to go forth and back at different speeds, it's insanely hard to predict its movement
