and also the thing related with piracy i think we need to have discussion about that

downloading UXXL is kind of pirating it since it's still technically XXL but with the combat aspects changed
You're just distributing mods/tools/patches: complementary files. Not the actual games (other than UXXL?)
People buy or pirate games on their own, these files mean nothing if they don't have the games
just reverse engineering it can be considered an offense (but i don't think this can be enforced in germany at least)
when you install the game there is always an agreement popping up before installing it
that you have no right in modifying game files
and distribute them anywhere
