@Stinkek How could they question a man with roman attire and a moustache similar to theirs? They were baffled as to where he originated from so they went on with it.

@AndreofHazel Well to be fair, I never watched the film as a whole, so I can't really judge. However, from what I've watched on YouTube (trailers and excerpts), the German voice actors of Astérix and Obelix don't fit at all in my opinion. I would say I even prefer the voice actors from XXL2^^
The best German voice actors for Asterix and Obelix were in my opinion the ones from The Twelve Tasks.

You know, even in french, the latest movie sucks for A & O compared to the old times. Both Roger Carel and Pierre Tornade aren't doing it anymore ( Roger is now over 90 years old )

For the latest movie, Asterix is voiced by his live action counterpart at least, Christian Clavier, but him too his getting old ( he already acted in 1998's Take On Cesar )

@Failentin I thought the same about the Greek dub. I love the original Greek voice actors from the old cartoons and I was cringing when I saw the Greek trailer for 'The Secret of the Magic Potion'. When I saw the film though, they were actually good. My point is that you give the film a chance in German in order to solidify your opinion about the voice actors.

Regarding voice acting... I'm used to Asterix's and Obelix's English voices in XXL1 and XXL2. I pretty much grew up with them.
