When I first joined this server, I thought I'd just look at what you guys post and write. I didn't think I'd talk so much here, or that anyone besides me would mention my favourite character...
I've been using DeviantArt for several years and that's where I made most friends, but... most of them are American, and they mostly don't know/care about "Asterix".
I've been posting mainly "Asterix" fanart on DA (well, usually it's Infirmofpurpus), and I noticed a decline in feedback. But I can't force my friends to get to know this franchise, there's so much content already... It was so much easier for me to just find new people who know it.
Apart from my own server and another one I have with close friends of mine, XXL Arena is the best/most interesting server I've ever been to. Chill people, mostly helpful and pleasant to talk to. I'm really enjoying my time here and I'm glad I can somewhat contribute in making this server as well as Asterix as a franchise a bit more popular.

Honestly, to think it simply started off as a small speedrunning group... I'm glad we now accept generally any Asterix fan, even if they are not playing the games. We would be missing on something huge.

I can confirm that. It's supposed to translate things literally most of the time which often doesn't make sense.
