In the French and German dubs his voice is deeper, he sounds relaxed, he hums ("hmm-hmm-hmm, pom-pom-pom"). In the German dub he also names the herbs he collects.

It's even more odd since the voice actor you hear in the Greek dub voiced Panoramix for almost every film prior to 'Asterix and the Vikings' if I'm not mistaken. I think he's voice perfectly suits the character. That was the first time I thought that he sounded a bit weird.
