That took an unexpected dark turn.

Germans made new music for "Asterix the Gaul" for some reason https://vimeo.com/330118141
rubinho146
I heard that music in the 12 tasks
AndreofHazel
🤢
Stinkek
I watched 12 Tasks, but it didn't have electronic music. What version was that?
AndreofHazel
I was watching 'Asterix in Britain' with the English Dub when I stumbled upon the scene where Optio Totalapsus had a spear pointed at him from an enraged Brit who had his lawn stepped on. I'm about to throw up, since he says 'By Jupiter!' but the Americans translated it as 'Mamma mia!'. Guess which of the two dubs the Greeks decided to base their translation on.
AndreofHazel
@Stinkek I don't remember electronic music in the Twelve Tasks.
rubinho146
There was no electronic, only the style of the music was the same
Stinkek
Yeah, the centurion says "mamma mia" in AatBF's American dub and every dub based on it. Dunno what AiB has to do with this though. He also says "By Jupiter" in every other language except UK English, where he goes "What do you mean, coming back here with your ?????????? in that state?" (he speaks so fast I don't fully understand him)
AndreofHazel
@Stinkek Regarding 'AiB': https://youtu.be/F33HokcX8M0?t=1957
AndreofHazel
And here's the Greek equivalent: https://youtu.be/KFj9qwD2ZQE?t=1958

Gee, how did this happen?..
Noxus94
omg you can't even understand that Roman guy at all in english
AndreofHazel
This is far fetched and somewhat unrelated, but I believe that the people who govern the country I live in are located inside the US Embassy in Athens.
Noxus94
it doesn't even sound like a language
AndreofHazel
He talks with a certain French dialect in the comics, namely the one called 'Le Devin'.
Noxus94
So French people with that dialect are obviously 24/7 too drunk to speak. Got it °A°
AndreofHazel
To help you a bit, imagine him as someone that lives in a secluded village in Germany.
Noxus94
At least people there wouldn't talk with a rythm of 250 bpm xD
