Martyste Tendertail
Don't worry, I heard of that 3D modeller a while ago
Martyste Tendertail
I don't know anyone who's using it tho
PegPeregoGaucho
Shit, he knows :PeepoSHAKE:
Martyste Tendertail
Because of the communities I sided, I mainly know about Sketchup and Blender.
Martyste Tendertail
There's another one suited for the GoldenEye modding community... forgot the name tho
PegPeregoGaucho
That exports stuff specifically for goldeneye?
Mr.Rubinshtein
sketch up is cursed
Mr.Rubinshtein
3d's max maya and blender are good
PegPeregoGaucho
Isnt sketchup for architecture?
Martyste Tendertail
Nah, the GoldenEye tools are suited for that 3D modeller
Martyste Tendertail
Rubin, I don't want to brag, but I use Sketchup alot and push it to its limits... well now I'm more on Blender but I still use Sketchup as a way to quickly bring forward the shapes I need to begin with
Mr.Rubinshtein
sketchup as it name says helps to create quick sketch of environment mostly architecural
PegPeregoGaucho
In the end it comes down to personal preference
PegPeregoGaucho
Hell, I used ZModeler3 for beta Rome :peepoExit:
Martyste Tendertail
See that little fella, I modded in Mario 64? 100% Sketchup, including the UV mapping!
Mr.Rubinshtein
yes but try to model something complicated with sketchup you will get lot of white hairs
Martyste Tendertail
Well it's true that it's not intended for High poly stuff
Mr.Rubinshtein
yea
Martyste Tendertail
But I'm not hugely concerned when working in the Mario 64 modding community
Martyste Tendertail
And in general being a lover of lowpoly
