@Jesse Nikulus I wrote a tool named XXL Editor to edit the KWN files. There I added a feature to import/export the models as Renderware DFF files, that you can open and edit in Blender using an addon that supports Renderware files, like DragonFF.

This is a mod of Gaul that changes the character models of Asterix, Obelix, Dogmatix to Mario, Donkey Kong and Spyro respectively. Just extract (using 7zip) and replace LVL001/LVL01.LVL with the extracted file. Be sure to make a backup of the original one if you want to remove the mod! (models from https://www.models-resource.com)
