Well, I recently tried out that Garfield racing game with Spork. He used a gamepad that didn't match the type chosen in Parsec, but it still worked.

I don't know how it works for PlayStation emulated in Duckstation, I found this selection menu but I don't get it

Like, is it possible to use an actual PS controller with this emulator and basically play the game as it's meant to be?

Digital Controller = the first model that lacks the joysticks: this model is required for Final Fantasy VII: on real hardware, dualshocks need their analogs turned off.

But else than this rare exception, Analog Controller fits all regular games.

I just tried Asterix - These Romans are Crazy!, a game for Nintendo DS. This stuff is way better than XXL2MW. It can be played by 2 people and you only need a mouse (emulating stylus) so we wouldn't even need to fuck around with the keyboard if we were to play it together
