The issue is all the good creators went greedy and release mods for the marketplace

Unfortunately java mods are not compatible with bedrock
thus you are missing out on thousands of iconic mods
But making mods for bedrock is possible and requires a lot less knowledge than making mods for java
You merely need some developer made tool, rather than learning to code minecraft from scratch
Which is how the marketplace creators churn out so many mods in so little time
