I'll copy-paste my reply from when I was asked before Ah, well, this is 4dopt, described as a "pet site made by artists for artists". Artists submit their species, many of which can be recoloured and bred by those who collect them. Recolouring is done by rearranging layers and changing Hue, Saturation, Brightness and blending modes.
