which is why small romans have red shields since it small and is enough to catch your eye

while formation is calm blue which doesnt catch your attention much but due to the formation size you can see it clear

depending on the level it is nice. for Gaul I'd take the blue ones. normandy with red shields. Does greece is both cool. helvetia both as well, egypt blue and rome both again I think.

nope in all other levels its still needs blue Normandy has white dominant color and blue is contrasting calm to it Greece has mix or brown and ochre colors on ground which still will make formation blend in with small enemies Helvetia has cold green and cold blue colors more like moonlight color which perfectly balances with blue formations red will look out of place Egypt has primary yellow and ochre colors which are both dominant as same time and adding third dominant aka red color will make it look out of place again same points apply to Rome
