that's really weird that this now happens two time so close to each other. Did you move into any direction when you switched to Asterix?
If you look at it frame by frame, Asterix is being pushed forward slightly, when he should usually change.

hmm, yeah that's the same whate happened to Yarnfang. And since you didn't do anything there doesn't even seem to be a frame where the inputs count for Asterix AND Obelix...
I guess that's nothing which can be forced at all - not that it would be any helpful 😄
Maybe it does have something to do with jumping very close to the trigger area. Something you should avoid then, when doing a run. 🤔

you both jumped into the range of the blue pillar/switching zone, but landed exactly beside it and then jumped in. I guess these switching zones do have some height, too
wait, I have a second explanation
I think you jumped over the landing area because you were on the closest pixel to it when you started jumping (which can be seen at second 10 at x0.25 speed on the first video). Combined with you standing as far to the outer side of the platform as possible since you just walked into the switching zone makes you jump too far, since I guess the game is programmed to make you jump a little further in case you are on the opposite of the platform when starting to jump
