tried a patch from thelpatix, got this error

looks like the patcher wasn't able to make a backup because the game's folder is protected by admin rights

did you try running the patcher with administrator rights?

otherwise copy the GameModule.elb file somewhere else (like the desktop), patch it here and copy the patched GameModule back to the game's folder
