My solution out of it, was to blindly use keyboard controls to get to end the task. By trial and error I looked where my keyboard selection was while viewing the miniature of task manager while alt-tabing.

As long as you don't click, you don't loose focus of the Task Manager.

Just finished the original game for the first time. When I played it as a kid, I lost my patience at the final boss fight. Now that I've replayed it I stupidly died 4-5 times before I could do the final blow.

I played both. In the remaster I thought "wait a second... that's wrong, isn't it?" But it was still fine that way even I think they removed the spiky thing at the final boss.

the only thing beside the pac man romans i remember about the final boss fight in remaster is how we always talked about Larry Craft being in it on hardest difficulty
