Try to experience non remastered xxl2 challenge (impossible)
Does XXL 2 have native controller support like XXL 1?
I tested my generic gamepad with XXL2. With and without x360ce I can only navigate around menus and pause the game. Unable to move, attack or anything else.
Hmm I can walk and do everything normally in the game but I can't map the right stick, L2 and R2 for some reason
Until XXL2 gets all the patch attention, use a third party like joy2key to map those to keyboard strokes
and link the keys to your buttons

How hard would it be to modify the xxl2 sound files to replace those goddamned roman punching sounds?
Both the xxl1 and og punching sounds are so much nicer
I previously used AdrienTD's XXL Editor to replace textures in XXL1 and OG, but IDK if it's possible with audio
You open the editor, open the "Sounds" Menu and then click the import button on whatever sound you want to replace.
