You can literally just walk onto the platform with Epidemais from behind, so you don't have to activate the bridge

Since I wasn't able to reproduce it since then I can't really tell. But I think we should be able to get to the end of Rome like that without activating another quest. So in the best case szenarion it saves 3 - 5 minutes
the important thing beforehand is, when entering the are with this fountain you first have to talk to fakusnewsus and trigger the atrium without actually triggering the Roman fight afterwards. Then you can get back to the fountain, because you don't have an active quest in that moment
I haven't messed with any other fountains so far

But I already have difficulties just finding that fountain, Rome is so huge and every area looks the same 😅
