So there really is a input difference?
Could it be related to the emulation? Are you sure it's the same on the original hardware?
I mean, these inputs have to be basically frame perfect
Marlon got extremely lucky to pull it out in 100% speed
So my statement still stands "it's so frame perfect that it's impossible" ^^
Well, so far we knew only that we could make it by jumping from the cogwheel but that would trigger the lock anyway
I have proven today that the trick is doable in a TAS, with the right conditions.
You could try it with the CheatEngine speedhack in the PC version
well yeah, but it will never be possible to use it in a run
not even if we had infinite tries without accidently activating the lock
I was mostly there on this topic to do researches for the TAS
And making sure the PC version was only impossible because of the frame perfection of the trick, not a console difference
Still @Deleted User Congratulations for being the only person on this world to have pulled out that trick on GCN at regular speed.
Thank you @Martyste Tendertail much appreciated
You have to kill the romans to make the blue light appear.
So you can keep the passive lock.
I didn't think of that. I am a complete idiot.😂
Thank you @AdrienTD
I found the game speed value in XXL now (even a long time ago for OG).
But that skip at the beginning of Egypt is hard, even in slow motion.
Buuuut did you prove it to be PC possible, even if no human can really manage it?
