Just thought I may add an option that shows you if everything loaded right (grins at @Nekin )
yarnfang
We can't rob the viewers of the joy that comes from an attempted flybash without the combo glitch :p
yarnfang
It's all they have man.
Noxus94
So, no speedrun streams today? D:
Noxus94
not even of XXL 2?
PegPeregoGaucho
doesnt look like it :/
AdrienTD
and OG? 😄
Noxus94
Well, in the worst case scenario of no other stream being available I'd watch a OG run as well... xD
Nekin
I will maybe stream tonight
NoTeefy
okay I just realized something
NoTeefy
I apparently had the wrong pointer in the old autosplitter
NoTeefy
There's a pointer that serves as a flag for the loading screen itself (which is the one I've used in the first splitter)
NoTeefy
but that's actually not the loading flag itself (it also loads something during the map animation, but just for a tiny amount)
NoTeefy
How do we go about that? I would technically need to use the proper loading flag but that would mean all loadless times from the old splitters were a tiny bit off :/
NoTeefy
Or do we settle down to just count the loading screens itself as a load?
Noxus94
I don't really understand what you mean, sorry xD
NoTeefy
Okay let me rephrase it. The game engine holds different flags for its own logic. The flag that I've used in the old auto-splitter was the one that kept track on the loading screen state (if it's shown or not)
NoTeefy
However that's not really an appropriate flag because I just realized that the real "loading flag" is triggered during the map discover animation aswell; it seems to load something right there
NoTeefy
or when you load a save file (you'll get the prompt successfully loaded there)
NoTeefy
What that means is that our loadless times were a tiny bit off if we were to use the proper loading flag
