It was my bad tbh, I assumed that the game only loaded stuff during the loading screens and didn't double check. My question was if we want to settle down and accept that fact and just continue using the loading screens as a loading state or if we want to switch to the proper flag in the rewrite that I'm working on

Or an example with numbers: The old timer just removed the loading times where the loading screen was shown. Let's take some imaginary number like 200ms. The engine itself however is not only loading stuff when it displays the loading screen. Which means it would be something like 200ms + 15ms + 10ms

Which would mean that our loadless times with the old splitter would be 25ms off for each split
