It's essentially NG+ if we start from a save file, doesn't matter if we unlocked anything in it or not
which means we should make clear what's allowed and what's not. We either all start from the save file or we don't
I can understand both cases, it's closer to the nature of speedruns if we start from "new game" and watch the intro
but it's way more convenient for runners to start from the file
Why should we allow both? Wouldn't make sense. You'd want standardised rules
But it wouldn't make sense either if you HAD to use the save file so that the run is valid
That's why I said we needed to talk about it
As it stand though I belive the rules say we start at new game right?
Yeah, so that is a requirement.
I think Nekin updated them a few months back
``Time starts when you can move Asterix after the intro cutscene.
Time ends when you hit the last button in Rome.``
Which means NG+ should be allowed atm
