either you want the option 1 or 2, it's preference
There's not many speedrun games that use that system to skip the intro but for example "The Simpsons Hit & Run" that I watch a lot and which is run by more than 200 people use that skip of the intro with a save file
Just to say that we won't be the only one to do that in the case we allow such a thing
I’d say option1 because otherwise people like me who want to play on a console can also run the game without problems
Also it’s more friendly on new runners

You don't have any disadvantage on console ^^
The cutscene is not counted in the timer anyway
Just start the timer after the cutscene
It's less than half a second at most :p
it would be a big problem if we were still counting the intro cutscene ^^
Then it would be counted as just cheating :p
