le me trying to figure out how to place Obelix in this spot so that Asterix jumps over the water
Basically, you have to stand Obelix on the tile separation
In a run we simply stop moving a split second before touching the columns.
If the player went to the left from the columns and Asterix was programmed to follow Obelix instead of going to the right (and through the water), this would've been much easier...
Yeh, all you have to do though is walk up to that separation asap. If Astèrix just walks into Obelix instead of jumping, just take some tiny steps towards him instill he does jump over.
That's all there's to it.
Does the game memorize you filling the Combo bar fully? I noticed that you could use the flybash in certain places in Normandy (boat with vikings and two archers around it) and Helvetia but the Combo bar wasn't even on the screen.
you can use flybash when filling the bar entirely and then hitting a roman for as long as you don't reload your save, die, hit another Roman or leave the level
doesn't matter if the bar is still there or not once you hit the requirements for flybash once
Alright...
So, who holds the WR for XXL at this time?
Failentin, with a time we all held absolutely impossible atm. 1:12:57
- You have about an hour and a half to live
- (speedruns XXL1)
I mean "impossible". I know, I could do a 1:12:xx as well (if my game wouldn't prevent tardis glitch), but still extremely good, especially since he didn't run the game for long
That glitch where you shove yourself into a crate in Greece and teleport?
... that sounds goofy without context
it's somehow hardware depending. And sometimes your hardware just says "nope, ain't gonna happen" and you can do absolutely nothing about it
It really seems like a terrible idea we allowed tardis in the first place, tbh. But we didn't know any better
