Still curious on how it could be hardware depend when it work one day and not anymore on another one
don't rly want to see that for my marathon run
would be rly embarrassing
but I guess it must be hardware dependent. I don' think the game's encoding changes sometimes.
Even though... we've had severel occasions where something works the same for months and then it suddenly changes for everyone within a few weeks and stays like that for a while.
Hinting at that one circle army at the end of Normandy that first worked perfectly fine for all of us, then it suddenly started acting weird for Yarny and only two weeks later we all had the same issue for 2 years.
it really is. There are obviously so many things that influence the way absolutely everything works, even things that are usually not connected with each other
I still think it‘s FPS dependent and not purely the hardware itself
but I need to do some proper tests if I finally find time for it
And what I mean by FPS dependent aren‘t the FPS themselves but the internal tick shiftings
Most likely... It would be interesting to force the game to cap at a certain framerate...
you could just use Rivatuner Statistic Server for that
if you find the time for it. I don‘t even have time to work on the splitter atm
Like, we could investigate the stability of Tardis on PS2 and GCN running at 50.
And if we can reproduce the same setups with a 50 cap and 4:3 on PC
Attempted Helvetia speedrun yesterday, failed 27 flybash attempts and died 6 times before I could get the potion (I recorded), had to quit in the middle of the world. *Great.*
@Stinkek you can use easiest trick to get Passive lock without Flybash. You need to activate lock(50 Romans) then come back in place without music then you can activate mechanism
