well it's a bit hard to understand and to do at first but you'll get there
it took me around 3-4 weeks to fully memorize the run back in november
and then, well it's just training
actually I think understanding the mechanics of the speedrun will allow you to understand what to do and what not to do
not losing your flybash, etc...

it depends on the wooden platform you're talking about
if it's the first one of Normandy then yes
