and it doesn't really matter timewise if there are one or two Romans spawning on the elevator, since you can defeat them before Obelix activates the elevator anyways

In Greece to get the Passive Lock. This is hard. Asterix always goes into the water
THat's why we have this very specific spot we always put Obelix at. It's on the right edge, two floor tiles away from the pillar. Asterix then jumps over you and the water in almost every case

I remember a video where someone jumped over the helvetia barricade at the beginning of the area (where you need to light the keg).
I don't know if that was a mod or whatever, but I cannot find it anymore. Maybe I never watched a video like that but I keep thinking about that.
Someone jumped over it with magic potion, but like I said I don't know if this was even real.
It doesn't help tho because you need the torch from the beginning to light the 4 fireplaces in the next stage.

Well, we tried that and it doesn't work. And even if it does, yeah, you still need the torch
we once found out that there is ONE frame that can get you through thin walls when you collect a second potion
we were never able to reproduce it, though
@Noxus94 If there is a way to jump over that ... and if we find a way to skip the 4 fireplaces without the torch this would save speedrunners A LOT of time. Maybe I find that video again (if it exists) .
highly improbable that we find two skips that big at the same time
