i would recommend to scale up the icons to the point that it fills the top bar fully

Well I also need to be careful to not make them too big, some people have smaller screens/resolutions and I fear that making them too big might make them out of bounds.

I know that nowadays 1920x1080 is becoming the norm, but maybe someone has an old 4:3 monitor of 1024x768...
