Guys probably you have there polish nodrm gamemodule in og
baku69
You can look on it and patch it
baku69
Cause its also made by cdprojekt
k0lter
I checked and OG in Polish also has DRM, at least it seems like it
baku69
They will look on it
adrientd
Maybe I could try putting my copy of OG there as well 🤔
adrientd
Because I remember on archive.org there is a copy of OG that has almost all languages of the original release (English,German,Italian,Spanish,Dutch) but not French for some reason.
k0lter
probably in the dutch version the french Language got replaced
k0lter
the Polish version of OG has French replaced with Czech and English with Polish
adrientd
My copy has like 6 languages: French,English,German,Italian,Spanish,Dutch
adrientd
But the one on archive has the French one literally removed, keeping 5, even the number of GLOC files is changed to 5 instead of 6

Can you get the mods working on gamecube?
adrientd
I wonder if maybe they made a French-less version so they could release and distribute to other countries earlier, so that in case it got "leaked" French people wouldn't be able to play in their language (especially when France is their biggest target audience???)
adrientd
You can use the XXL Editor to make mods for the Asterix XXL1 GameCube version: only problem is the model import where the rigging might be corrupted
adrientd
However porting mods would be difficult since they would have to be remade.

why not there be a converter
adrientd
Theoretically possible, but that's also a lot of work to do
adrientd
Also note that some mods make use of more RAM, and have higher count of Romans on screen, which might not be possible on the GameCube.
