By saying late 2000s i mean people who were born around 2008-2010
I wouldn't say they were popular here in Australia, but most people here can recognize them. There was an entire section in my local library for the comics.
Also asterix is more of a french phenomenon which makes sense also why not so many people know them.
They have been popular around europe because most of their adventures happened in these locations
Probably the biggest audience of asterix is france, germany and russia
I have noticed many fans from these countries
It is good to see a lot of people, Mostly americans discover it more recently.
Oh yeah
First americans got introduced to it in early 80s through videogames and from there i think it started to rise in popularity
There was an old amstrad console game that was remastered into asterix characters and sold in US
I also only recently found out my copy of XXL 2 on Ps2 must have been imported, I can't remember where we got the game. Pretty sure that game only released in Europe.
You can check on the box or on the disc
Usually a specific region initials are written on it
I still can't get over how they massacred the remasters.
It killed the community and danced on corpses of old games
Especially the new games...
XXL3 is a masterpiece idk what you're on about
Quick question, wanted to try the pc version of XXL2 again, I used the one in #original-xxl-games. How to enable fullscreen?
there's probably a full screen exe within the game files
