Though for the rest, like position of objects, scripting, trigger boxes, etc. this can be done with the XXL Editor no problem.

The Switch version of XXL 2 uses the videos as MP4 files
But the audio files appears to use the same format

Sound effects can be extracted with the XXL Editor, and music/voice streams in the RWS files can be read with vgmstream (I use foobar with the vgmstream extension)
