it would've been hilarious if, were you to shoot the kid, he just slumps onto the ground, joke over
but instead the kid himself says "Oh no, you shot me, guess I'm dead now!" and your gun _also_ goes on a long tangent about how you shot the kid and thus made the game ineligible for an E rating etc
which led to the joke being essentially overengineered, and thus ruined
this is my main issue with the game's humor
it's never allowed to actually be delivered
for the developers instead appear to assume that players wouldn't understand them on their own and thus that they need to completely explain every joke in utmost detail and do this multiple times in a row
this makes a lot of the humor feel forced and unfunny for me
like I said there's definitely an audience for this type of comedy
but for me personally it's just forced and often annoying

So earlier this day, my Windows acted up and gave me a black screen after I clicked away the unlock screen; thus I couldn't log in. It was a very scary morning for a bit, but opening winRE, booting into Safe Boot with Networking, and rolling back the latest quality Windows Update thankfully fixed it, and now I can use my PC again just fine.
