The GameModule.elb is actually the .exe for the game

Good luck with modding the game! Be aware of the fact, that olympic games is not fully supported by the editor, so there might be some bugs and even crashes. Make sure to make backups of your levels!

Yes, you can extract animations with the XXL Editor. At least for XXL1/2, when you select a model in the view, you can extract the model to a DFF file from the **Scene node window**, then extract the animation to an ANM file from the **Hook window**. Then you can import the model into Blender with the [DragonFF](https://github.com/Parik27/DragonFF) and the animation with the [Blender 3D RW Anm Plugin](https://github.com/Psycrow101/Blender-3D-RW-Anm-plugin).

For OG for some models the editor can find the corresponding hook and in the Hook window you should see an "Animation dictionary" that contains the animations:

This works for NPCs, but for Asterix/Obelix/Dogmatix it doesn't work with that method

Yeah unfortunately no way to access the heroes' animations from OG currently, since their hooks are not deserialized by the editor yet.
