pegperegogaucho
The updated textures are really good
pegperegogaucho
is this already with the normal map?
mr.rubinshtein
Wow that looks impressive
herrepsilon
Did you add the ambient occlusion or is that baked?
adrientd
Screenshot from editor, so diffuse map only
mr.rubinshtein
you really need to record a comparison between original and enhanced versions Adrien
mr.rubinshtein
it would be great
adrientd
I now kind of managed to import the X360 models to the PC version :PogClappa:
mr.rubinshtein

mr.rubinshtein

mr.rubinshtein

:issou:
pegperegogaucho
actually i think they don't look that bad
pegperegogaucho
except obelix's beard... what is going on with the transparency there?
adrientd
Yeah, the material flags are not correct, the X360 ones are different and my editor likes to reset them xD
herrepsilon
They look great ingame! Oh my goodness, this "definitive edition" might become a reality yet...
herrepsilon
Now that I'm thinking... It should be possible to add the unused soundtrack files back into the game, shouldn't it?
herrepsilon
If I remember correctly, there are eight battle tracks in the game files for example, but only five of them are used... From memory, it's something like - Grekko Battle (3x) - Aries Battle, Take 1 (3x) - Friga Battle (once in-game and once in the minigames) - Rachtok Battle (1x) - Louti Battle (1x) - Lacanau Battle (few secs play in a tutorial video, not in-game) - Jira Battle (unused) - Aries Battle, Take 2 (unused) There are also so many unused atmospheric tracks, it's a shame. @adrientd If you're serious about making this a kind of fan remaster some day, I'd love to spend some time adding these tracks back in.
adrientd
Yes, as they normally are all still present in the game, it is possible to reimplement them by changing references to them.
