where can i find the things i need to translate and how can i like save the file and test it in emulator?

I mean in the hex editor when you find valid text you can change the letters (without adding/removing, only modifying existing ones), save the rom and test it.

But I admit it will be very limited

especially when sometimes the English translation might be longer than in German and you don't have enough space to enter the new characters
