In egypt you still get the goodies at the big fights, like the potion at the beginning, the jetpack romans and the cannon later on. In Rome the fights will be much tougher and there will be no aid at all, you must fight the enemies yourself

It's probably one of those fights where I did not test it without tornado so the enemy counts might be badly adjusted. Like the Rome fight on the stairs

The quickest way to deal with them would be to kill them and make sure they fly into a wall so they respawn faster
