maybe the shadows can be the manual limit set with the engine it was made?
like the engine game was made wasnt able to go any higher then that
so like when the game code sees higher number then 255 it just doesnt know what to do and waits for that piece of code that is able in theory let it generate more
It should just see the value and allocate enough memory or whatever, but as soon as you go over 255 the game just riots
very interesting issue there
I looked at the romaster, it has the same values as the original but works fine.. Could be that they changed how it works so corentin could spam broke enemies around the level
